Capacity Builders is a full-service consulting company dedicated to helping nonprofits, social good organizations, and startups build infrastructure and accomplish their missions. We help our clients with everything from strategic planning, fundraising, interim-staffing, marketing, branding, and more.
The firm is owned and operated by women veterans and military spouses who have extensive nonprofit and organizational management experience.
We are looking for a virtual marketing/admin assistant to help our CEO with various tasks and projects. You will be responsible for:
• Creating and posting engaging content for our website and social media channels
• Setting up and managing email campaigns and newsletters
• Conducting market research and analysis to identify the needs and preferences of our target audience
• Providing administrative support such as scheduling appointments, bookkeeping, and organizing files
• Communicating with our clients and partners on behalf of our CEO
To be successful in this role, you should have:
• A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, or a related field (experience may offset degree preference)
• At least 2 years of experience as a virtual marketing/admin assistant or a similar role
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Proficiency in using digital marketing tools such as WordPress, Mailchimp, Canva, etc.
• A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a positive attitude
• A passion for nonprofit causes and social impact
